It is 1934, where high society and criminals intermix! Sailing on the S.S. American is a gangster on the run posing as a minister and a former evangelist who is a nightclub singer. Traveling with her are eight tap-dancing "Angels", a society miss who is engaged to an English gentleman (also on the ship), and her ex-boyfriend that stows away on the boat to try to win her back. A series of comical mistaken identities ensues as the passengers and crew sing and dance their way across the Atlantic.
With a ton of terrific parts, music by Cole Porter, a variety of dancing styles, including tap, and a gigantic ocean-liner on stage, this year's summer musical has all the necessary ingredients for a high-energy, musical extravaganza hit!
Join Studio East for an amazing summer of singing and dancing in our 13th Annual Summer Teen Musical. Spend June and July rehearsing the Broadway Musical, Anything Goes, and perform at the 400 seat Kirkland Performance Center at the end of July. Rehearsals are in the evenings and on occasional weekends.

Be a part of the Studio's 1st Annual Young Performers Series for ages 10-14. Cinderella has great roles for both guys and girls and promises to be loads of fun for the entire cast!
Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews and again in 1997 starring Brandy, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella continues to be a musical favorite for all ages, rich in song and with a range of terrific roles. Poor Cinderella is endlessly ill-treated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters and not allowed to attend the Royal Ball. With help from her Fairy Godmother and some precocious mice, Cinderella goes to the Ball, meets the Prince, falls in love and lives happily ever after.
