Deonn Ritchie Deonn Ritchie has worked in Educational Theatre for the past ten years. Recent directing credits include Bye Bye Birdie, The Music Man, Into the Woods, and Wizard of Oz at Village Theatre's Kidstage program. Other directing credits include Oliver, Once on this Island, Bye Bye Birdie, and The Wiz at Rose Hill Junior High, The Crucible at the International School, and numerous children's musicals in local schools and children's theaters. Also a playwright, Deonn has written three children's musicals with local songwriter Kim Douglass. We're Having a Ball?a Cinderella Story, Puss in Boots, and The Emperor's New Clothes have been produced by dozens of local studios and school drama programs. Eastside audiences may remember her as a regular with StoryBook Theater and other touring companies including Wooden O Productions, Tattered Hat Productions, and Rainy Day Theatre. Deonn will be directing The Music Man this spring for Shoreline Community College, and her newest original musical, Suds, at Rose Hill Junior High.
