Laura Shepherd is extremely happy to be Studio East's Education Director, and has enjoyed teaching for the Studio since June 2001. Laura loves working with kids of all ages, and spends most of her time Directing musical productions and teaching singing classes with 3rd-10th graders; a dozen private voice students round out her schedule. Laura has Directed and Musically Directed Studio East ArtReach! productions at elementary schools all over the Eastside since 2002. She has also Musically Directed Into the Woods and Oklahoma! at Youth Theatre Northwest with middle and high school students. Most recently Laura Directed A Midsummer Night's Dream - one of the Studio's Teen Summer Camps. This year she is proud to be Directing The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up in the Studio's Homeschool Program.
