David Spring David Spring, Music Director, is enjoying his second season with Studio East, and is in his sixth season conducting for the Northwest Savoyards in Everett, having just finished a fully staged/orchestrated Pirates of Penzance. His most recent ArtsReach production was Eastside Christian's unique version, Off to See the Wizard! A University of Washington graduate in church music and music education, David has led the music for over 45 community and school musicals in the Puget Sound area. Favorites were large-scale productions of Oliver!, Annie!, Mame!, The Sound of Music, The Music Man, and Hello Dolly!, for such groups as the Northshore-Shoreline Civic Theatre, Emerald City Players, Renton Civic Theatre, and Civic Light Opera. In addition, David is the conductor for Choral Sounds Northwest in Burien, is a church music director in Everett, and maintains a private and teaching practice in keyboard and voice.
