Spring Break Camps
for Grades 2 - 6

Spend Spring Break at Studio East!
Students will rehearse a musical rendition of The Aristocats or Jungle Book which will perform on the final day of class. In addition to rehearsals, students will participate in a fun selection of theater classes. This camp always fills quickly, so call early to reserve your space!
(Both Sections: 8:30 early drop off and 5:30 late pick-up)

    Lake Washington School District

March 31 - April 4

Mini YAPI For Teens
for Grades 7 ~ 12

This is a great course to take if you are considering the 6 week Young Actors Professional Intensive (YAPI) offered during the summer. Mini YAPI is taught by many of the YAPI staff and the process-based classes include Camera, Shakespeare, Music Theatre, Auditioning, Scene Study, Stage Combat, Technique, and more. There will be a presentation on the final day of class.

March 31 - April 4

   Saturday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

This Student Emergency Form is required for all Studio East Programs. Please fill out and bring it to the first day of class or camp.

 

Studio East Break Camp Policies

Break Camp Withdrawal and Refund Policy
A full refund, less a $50 nonrefundable deposit, will be issued prior to the 1st day of camp. No refund will be issued after the 1st day of camp.

Emergency Forms
Students cannot participate without returning a fully completed and signed emergency form to the Studio on or before the first day of camp
. Parents please note that it is imperative that you inform us of any physical, emotional or behavioral challenges your child may have. This information will make our camp instruction more effective and your child's camp experience more rewarding.

Code of Conduct
We at Studio East value each and every individual. In order to create an environment where each student has the freedom to grow, both as a performer and as an individual, Studio East does not tolerate the following:

  • Fighting with another student, faculty, volunteer or parent
  • Destruction or theft of Studio East property or materials
  • Disrespect towards oneself or others
  • Use of inappropriate language and/or innuendo
  • Racial or sexual harassment (including inappropriate physical contact)

Sign In/Sign Out
All students must be signed in and out at the beginning and end of camp by a parent or guardian. Please ensure you have enough time to walk your student to and from the theatre lobby each day.

Pick Up/Drop Off
We hope that all of our students will arrive at camp promptly each day at 9:00, or as early as 8:30am. Please let us know if you will need to pick up your student before camp ends at 5:00. All students must be picked up no later than 5:30pm.

Absence and Illness
Please alert the Studio if your student will be absent by calling (425) 827-3123. If your child is ill, contagious and/or running a fever, please DO NOT bring him/her to camp. Studio East Instructors and staff cannot dispense medication to your child.
